Activities of Attention Deficit Disorder Resources (ADD Resources)

Started a monthly support group for adults in Tacoma 1992 and ongoing
Produced the 138 page Adult ADD Reader, a collection of short articles written by national ADHD authorities and adults with ADHD which is a benefit of membership in Attention Deficit Disorder Resources (ADD Resources) 1993; revised 2003
Began a lending library for members which now has over 450 books, audiotapes, CDs, DVDs and videos on ADHD and is available at all monthly support groups and on line 1993; and ongoing
Produced the 8 page quarterly newsletter, ADDult ADDvice, every quarter since 1995. This newsletter is mailed or emailed to our members from the US, Canada and other international countries. 1995 and ongoing
Created a Clinicians Registry for Washington state 1999
Sent a donated booklet on ADHD to every pharmacy (over 300) in Pierce County 2000
Moved office from Cynthia Hammer's home to rented office space 2002
Sent ADHD materials, including our Adult ADD Reader, to all prison libraries in the state 2002
Staffed the office three hours a day so people calling could talk with a live, knowledgeable person about their ADHD questions and concerns. 2002 and ongoing
Created a video and audio Public Service Announcement about ADHD and Attention Deficit Disorder Resources (ADD Resources) that was distributed to area radio and TV stations. 2003
Received a grant from McNeil of $3002 used to purchase books and other materials for our lending library for parents/children with ADHD 2003
Created an outstanding, educational website with over 100 free articles and 100 links to ADHD–related websites 2003 and ongoing
Added a second support group in Tacoma for parents of children with ADHD 2003 and ongoing
Initiated online registration for our events and for memberships 2003 and ongoing
Won an award as one of three agencies (out of over 500) in Pierce County for Good Governance of a Non–Profit Organization 2004

Relocated office to a larger, 2 room office space 2005
Gave presentation at Washington State Addictions Conference on ADHD 2005
Gave presentation at NASW of Washington conference on ADHD 2005
Sold books at the ADHD conference in Vancouver BC 2005
Celebrated National ADHD Awareness Day by featuring several free web casts by nationally prominent ADHD authorities and by creating and posting to the website a list of recommended ADHD books that people could share with their local libraries 2005
Sponsored ADHD coach training teleclasses 2005 and ongoing
Added a fifth support group, an adult group in Olympia 2005 and ongoing
Created the "New Possibilities" Scholarship Fund which allows low income people to become members of Attention Deficit Disorder Resources (ADD Resources) and attend our workshops and conferences at a reduced or no fee. They are encouraged to volunteer time to us, when feasible, in exchange. 2005 and ongoing

Made web casts of the teleclasses and many of our conference sessions which are available at our website for listening 24/7. Many web casts also include handouts. 2006 and ongoing
Made CDs, DVDs and Powerpoint presentations from some of our conference presenters available for sale. 2006 and ongoing
Created a power point presentation, ADHD: The Realities which can be viewed online or downloaded for free to be used in other settings. 2006 and ongoing
Offered Bob Seay's ebook, The Adult Workbook as a bonus for members and renewing members 2007 and ongoing
Posted several ADHD powerpoint presentations to our website which can be viewed for free online. 2007
