Steven J. Curry is the Senior Marketing Consultant for Cerecore Institute a performance resource company for bringing the full capacity of thinking processes into everyday use. Steve brings to the board a unique combination of business development, education, and clinical experience. As a successful two-time business owner, business development has been a major responsibility. While he was Director of Youth Development at the YMCA, his program received national honors for marketing positive values. As a program manager at Ryther Child Center he counseled and developed treatment programming for youth and families. Steve has served as a board member of the Workforce Development Council serving youth programming, Explorer West Middle School, and continues to be an active advocate for community development in southwest Seattle.

Brenda Mowers

Brenda is a parent of two boys with ADHD, and has personally experienced the struggles and learning differences associated with ADHD. Her passion is helping adults and children who are stumbling through the vast piles of often confusing and contradictory information regarding treatment options for ADHD. She has experience as an pharmacy technician and pharmacy educator and is in the beginning stages of pursuing her graduate degree in Social work. She regularly works as an Art Docent and mentor at Echo Glen Children’s Center, a correctional facility for youth aged 14-21 in King county.















David Pomeroy, M.D.

Dave Pomeroy is a Board-Certified Family Physician with 26 years of office–based general family practice experience in a variety of practices in the Northwest since completing his training in Seattle in 1979. He has a lifelong interest in people, how we are who we are, how we got there, and how to make changes in what might be preventing personal growth and healthy living. He has a reputation among his patients as a doctor who takes the time to listen, and start the healing process from where they are. His 10 year long interest in AD/HD accelerated in the past 3 years to a consultation practice within general practice. He just opened Brain Health NW, his solo practice for the diagnosis and treatment of AD/HD and related conditions, in Bellevue in August of 2005.

Become a Member of the ADD Resources Board

We want to grow our Board from 10 members to 15. We are especially looking for board members with knowledge in one of the following areas, although all applications will be gratefully accepted: fundraising: marketing; computer technology; substance abuse, education, criminial justice. The Board meets in person on the second Thursday on the month from 4:15-6 p.m. in Tacoma (although meetings in the future might alternate between Tacoma and Seattle.) Board members serve a 3-year term and are expected to attend all meetings and also serve on one committee which meets monthly by conference call.
