ADHD Consumers: Search Tips
The National ADHD Directory is a new public service of Attention Deficit Disorder Resources. It is free to the public and requires no registration. Please review our Terms of Use. Listed below are a few ideas to help you optimize your searches.
Keep It Simple
The most common problem is entering too many search criteria at once. Start with one or two. Experiment. If you get too few results (or no results), try again with a simpler search. Very important: use the navigation buttons at the bottom of each page. Using your browser's back button may freeze the page. :-(
Search in Your State
We suggest you start by selecting your state from the drop-down list. Entering your city will return fewer results, so only do that if you need to narrow your results. You might want to browse through all the listings in your state—regardless of their specialty.
Search Nationally
Many coaches, attorneys, advocates, and professional organizers will work with you by phone or email; they are not limited by physical location. Try searching for provider type (below) with no state or city selected.
Search by Provider Type
- Alternative Treatments
- Attorneys/Advocates

Come Back Often
The Directory was launched on April 1, 2004 and now has over 1150 listings. We are still growing this new service, and providers are adding new listings every day. Be sure to check back regularly. You never know what you might find....
