Career Planning for ADD College Students

Objectives
- Understand value of passion/strong interest in choosing career direction and identify skills and talents.
- Learn occupational information-gathering and market research techniques.
- Utilize decision-making model to join skills/talents wiht caeer opportunities to make educated career choices.
Interactive workshop will provide experiences/techniques/tools/resources to begin identifying skills/talents/passions and exploring the real world employment opportuntites and learn how to make good decisions about colleges/majors/summer jobs/careers.
About Victoria Ball
Victoria Ball has thirty years as a career counselor with 16 years as former career counseling Director at Brown University. Trained by Coaches Training Institute, CA. Master Certified Coach (MCC) through International Coach Federation. Currently in private practice in Providence, RI for ten years with ADD high school/college students and adult clients worldwide. Affiliated with Center for Neuropsychology and Learning Disorders in RI and Hallowell Center in MA. Wrote "Career Choices and ADD" article and quoted in College Bound article in ADDitude Magazine. Speaker and trainer for ADD coaches, university staff/faculty, college students, employers and parents. Member of CHADD and ADDA. Facilitates RI ADD Adult Support Group. Producer and host of 60-minute DVD/CD called ADD 101 for College Students which is helpful for all adult learners and a general audience.
