Summer Strategies to Prep for College

School's out! You've just graduated from high school and gotten into college. It's a big step and big change, especially for someone with ADHD. What can you do this summer to build the foundation to create a successful college experience? Learn a variety of tips, strategies and suggestions that you can put in place during the summer months ahead. (Useful for college students with ADHD and their parents.)
Victoria Ball, M.Ed, MCC is an ADD Career Coach and ADD Productivity Partners Coach (sm) in Providence, RI with clients worldwide. Victoria is affiliated with the Hallowell Center (MA) and the Center for Neuropsychology and Learning Disorders (RI). She provides career and college assessment, job search and college application strategies, and life/career success coaching to ADD clients (high school/college/graduate students and professional adults) in person, by phone, or work/home location.
Victoria has created a DVD/CD ADD 101 for College Students. She is a former career counselor at Brown University, Dartmouth College, and Franklin & Marshall College and also served as Freshman/Sophomore Advisor in all three schools. She is a member of ADD Resources, ADDA (and ADDA's Workplace Issues committee), CHADD and ACO. Victoria facilitates the RI ADDult Support Group.
