Larry Davis, M.Ed. is an Educational Constultant in the Puget Sound region sinnce 1998 helping parents navigate through the public school system; primarily addressing special needs issues: ADHD/ADD, Aspergers/HFA, and IEP/Section 504 planning. In addition, I am a consultant with Kent School District as a member of the Ombuds Services Team; a mediation/conflict resolution process. As a former Public School Principal, with extensive Special Education experience, his expertise supports IEP/Section 504 development. By the time parents begin the IEP/504 process, most are frustrated and drained by the bureaucratic school system. Specifically, he helps parents cut through the red-tape and negotiate the best IEP/504 Plan possible without empty promises. Due to the complex nature of the process, as well as the legal ramifications guided by state and federal law, most parents appreciate having an educational expert in their corner. My practice fills a gap often left unaddressed.
