In reading reviews on one of the vacation rentals I was looking at, someone mentioned that they were really glad they'd obtained Senior SmarTrip cards by mail in advance of their trip. I poked around the Metro website, but I can't find any way to do that -- it looks like you have to purchase it in person at a one of a limited number of locations.
