I have just installed alpha-alpha edition and I am trying to logon using admin/pfsense to Web interface, but no luck. Is the default username/password different for this version? Thanks in advance.

We try to remember so many default logins that we sometimes forget the easiest ones including the fact that pfSense uses a different username as default for SSH and for the pfSense admin GUI.

Ok, this must be a stupid question, but I've searched, it says that default username is "root" and password is "opensense", I just downloaded the 16.7 from the west coast mirror site and installed as VM under windows hyper-v, and after setup the WAN PORT, it goes to "login:" and I tried many many times, it just keep saying "login incorrect" so what am I mssing.
