Dell Inspiron Blank Screen After Login

Hi! I have a month old Dell Inspiron 11 3000 that the screen goes black after I login to windows 8. You can see the white mouse icon and move it. It attached to a monitor- that mirrors the black screen. What do I do? Thanks so much

After doing much research, I have found this thread. I have been experiencing this in the last month with my Dell Inspiron as well. It doesn't make sense. I too also did a software reinstall to see if clear up any issues, it helped computer speed up a bit but then same problem, black screen when try to start laptop.
