Sep 30, 2016 · If the Diskstation switches to offline mode after a few seconds, try whitelisting the Synology server in uMatrix. DSM may detect that the browser won’t able to open the pages and switch to offline mode. The Synology update server may be found after that. Try pinging arbitrary addresses to double-check.
