The UEMS-EACCME ® began its activities in January 2000 with the mutual recognition of accreditation of EU-wide and international CME-CPD activities for live educational events through the awarding of European CME credits (ECMECs) to individual medical specialists, allowing the recognition and exchange of CME credits between all European countries.

Addressing Clinician Burnout: We have held several “Leading Healthy Work Systems” workshops.This multi-session, small group activity, which takes place over the course of three months, is designed to give learners the necessary skills to recognize the physical, social, technological, and cultural attributes in their work environment that impact productivity and occupational well-being.

EACCME credits. Each Medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME credit system is based on 1 ECMEC per hour with a maximum of 3 ECMECs for half a day and 6 ECMECs for a full-day event.
