The Department of Education has announced that all federally held student loans will receive an automatic temporary 0.00% interest rate effective 03/13/20. No action is required to receive the interest rate reduction. In addition, all federally held student loans are eligible for a forbearance.

You may apply for a Direct Consolidation Loan offered by the U.S. Department of Education and choose a servicer, like HESC/Edfinancial Services, and a repayment plan, such as an Income-Driven Repayment (IDR) Plan. Please be aware that there is no application fee to consolidate your federal student loans into a Direct Consolidation Loan.
