Elder Scrolls Login Queue

Nov 01, 2017 · I've seen the "login queue" message, for a second or two, about twice in my 1.5 years of playing ESO, so apparently there is a mechanism like that, but it very rarely kicks in. If it does, repeatedly and persistently, something is probably quite wrong with the server.

The gist of the post it that over the last couple months they have experienced a large influx of new players causing the player base to grow faster then anticipated. In order to ensure that the servers don't have any issues they had to turn on a login queue as a temporary measure as they work to add more to their servers to accommodate everyone.

Apr 11, 2019 · Elder Scrolls brand didn’t help it when it came out. Quite opposite, actually, because people expectation were extremely high. It was nearly dead in 6 months after release.
