Try clearing your browser cache and cookies BEFORE logging in to your Facebook account, that may clear the information from your browser, then manually enter email/password. and login--your browser should ask you if you want it to remember login information for website--answer yes and the next time you go to the login page your browser should pre-fill the email/password fields.

When i leave Facebook i don`t logout i just close. Also when i go to another site and come back to Facebook i have to type in the email address and password again because it`s logged out.
