Facebook Someone Tried To Log In

Somebody else tried to log in my facebook, how do i track their IP address? Settings someone from another country tried to log in my account, i forgot to take a screenshot of the "show IP address" option. how can i track this down?

Most likely someone mistyped their email address and that is what generated the login alert, but it is possible it was an attempted hack. If you ever receive emails saying they are from Facebook that you are not sure of, avoid the links in them and reporting the email:

The fact Facebook have told you someone has "attempted" to access your account, means they failed, therefore nothing will have been changed on your account. All you can do is set your Facebook account to highest possible security, you can have your phone and several other devices set up with it, so if anyone tries to log in you will be informed and can deny them access.
