Every code which I used is FB APIs FB.login, FB.getLoginStatus and FB.api they all FB API calls. FB.login and FB.getLoginStatus are specific function from FB JS SDK to initiate LOGIN and to check login status. Personally I am not big fan of SOCIAL PLUGINS given by FB itself (like login button) as they tend to restrict developer capabilitis.

I'm using facebook login on a site to make it easier for users to login or register but I just realised that the login button is not showing up if I'm logged in into facebook. If I log out, it's displayed the expected way. It used to work before, maybe 2 months earlier but it does not work now. The fb:login tag is used like this:

What's happening is you click on the "Connect to Facebook" button, it shows the FB login dialog, you log in. Yes, they are being logged in to Facebook correctly (thankfully), but the "onlogin" callback event is not getting fired anymore, so the page just sits there (where before the "onlogin" event would redirect to the homepage, for example).
