The Commonwealth Courts Portal (CCP) is an initiative of the Family Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. Effective May 17, 2012, electronic filing is mandatory for attorneys filing in the Federal Circuit, unless they are granted a specific exemption or are self-represented (“pro se”) litigants. On March 19, 2018, the Federal Circuit went live on the next generation of the national case management and electronic case filing system, NextGen CM/ECF.
