Starting July 1, 2018, the Florida legislature expanded opportunities for military personnel, veterans and their spouses or surviving spouses to request a waiver of initial certification and certification examination fees. Renewal requirements must be completed during the last validity period of the Professional Certificate and prior to expiration of the Professional Certificate.
