Florida KidCare Programs. Florida KidCare is the umbrella brand for the four government-sponsored health insurance programs – Medicaid, MediKids, Florida Healthy Kids and the Children’s Medical Services Managed Care Plan – that together provide a seamless continuum of coverage for Florida children from birth through the end of age 18.

Florida Healthy Kids is one of four Florida KidCare partners and is run by a Board of Directors that includes doctors, a dentist, hospital representatives, advocates, and state agency representatives—people who care about the wellbeing of Florida’s future generations. Most members qualify for subsidized coverage and pay just $15 or $20 a month.
