Fon is the global WiFi network We pioneered residential WiFi sharing over a decade ago and now we manage a network of over 23 million hotspots worldwide. We are experts in keeping people seamlessly connected by aggregating residential and prime public WiFi footprints, as well as facilitating interconnection between WiFi networks.

Once Fon is setup, you can connect through the HotSpot Login App or on WiFi captive portals that will pop up when you click on your browser after selecting any “Telekom_Fon” signal. You will have access to all “Telekom_Fon” hotspots in Germany and to Fon’s global WiFi network.

The personal data will share to Fon’s Group, competent Public Administrations in accordance with the applicable law and Fon’s Partners (Telecom Operators) in the territory where we offer and you get access to the Fon’s services, as well as to the data processors under the provision of its services (see additional information section below).

The reason is the settings of the router that creates the hotspot are not configured to allow such access. Indeed, some routers can use a firewall blocking some ports, enable parental control, give priority to another type of traffic, etc.
