Gigya Social Example Login

Integrating Gigya's Social Login. Before delving into the implementation, please take a look at the Screen-Sets illustrating the following implementation from the user's point of view.. Please note, this implementation proposes using the user's email address as the user identifier, in other words the email field is required and unique per user account.

The Social Login Demo allows you to view some of the data available from Gigya when a user is logged in to a social network. Gigya’s Customer Identity Management is a complete solution for managing a new generation of user data that encompasses social identity data, social graph connections, behavior data, and traditional profile data.

The most straightforward way to add third party login to your site is to place the Gigya Login plugin alongside your current registration/sign-in UI. Our plugin simply presents the social networks' logos. When a user clicks on one of the logos, we then prompt that person to sign in to that provider and approve the connection with your site.

Jul 22, 2018 · To enable social-to-social linking you need to add Gigya's social login widget to your existing link-accounts screen's markup, with the required loginMode='link' parameter. In order to do so you will have to export the markup from the console's screen-set page.

Gigya will set the isSiteUser flag for this user to "true", thus even if this user is referred to as a friend of another user you can easily tell he is a user of your site and not just a friend of the visiting user.
