But, I am logged into gmail in the web browser. Tried logging out and back in. Also, tried the captcha link as well as enabling "less secure clients". Pretty sure the issue is on Gmail's side since I have other IMAP accounts successfully hooked up into Outlook.

5. Checked login with other gmail accounts different from the original one. The problem is not limited for one single account. Unable to login using any other gmail account too (from torch browser, accounts works fine with other browsers though)
