Online classes draw together writers from across the globe.Our Online writing classes offer the same quality of instruction as our NYC classes, and, as much as possible, our Online classes replicate the experience of being together in a classroom with a teacher and fellow students.

Student Success. Here are letters from Gotham students writing to thank us for helping them achieve success with their writing. We call these “Dear Gotham” letters, for obvious reasons.

Novel Writing. A novel is a world into which a reader disappears for hours or days at a time, navigating through time and space and human psychology. We live with the characters, be they a glamorous bootlegger living the high life, or a mixed-up teenager on hiatus from prep school, or a neurotic person trying to get her act together to land a mate.

Arrive in the morning with a desire to learn; leave in the evening as a more knowledgeable writer. Intensives are open for writers of any level. Students must be 18 years or older. Students may reschedule a One-day Intensive one time. Poetry Writing Intensive topics include: line-breaks, rhythm, sound figurative language, getting published.
