After upgrading Windows 10 v1511 from 7.11 to 7.13, the grey screen issue gets resolved after replacing ctxuvis.sys with the correct 7.13 version. The grey screen issue does not occur With Windows 10 1607 or 1703 while upgrading Win 10 VDA from XenDesktop 7.11 to 7.14.1. Issue is not seen with fresh installation of XenDesktop 7.13 on Win 10 v1511.

Nov 16, 2017 · The computer was in multi-monitor mode, the HDMI was the best monitor and Windows defaulted to HDMI as my primary monitor - the VGA was the default login screen background for monitors 2, 3, 4. Powered on the monitor, login screen was there, logged in w/o a problem. Shut down, removed HDMI, machine booted properly from VGA port.
