The award-winning I-15 Express Lanes is the nation's most advanced and innovative highway system. The I-15 Express Lanes provide 20 miles of flexible travel between State Route 78 in Escondido and State Route 163 in San Diego. The I-15 Express Lanes are free for carpools, vanpools, transit riders, clean air vehicle drivers, and motorcycles.

The South Bay Expressway (SR 125 toll road) stretches from the Otay Mesa border crossing north through Chula Vista to SR-54, providing access to Downtown San Diego, East County, I-8, I-15, Otay Mesa, and Mexico.

Cash is not being collected at Bay Area bridges as of 3/21/20. This is to protect toll-paying customers and toll collectors from the risk of exposure to the coronavirus during the current public health emergency. You can use FasTrak to pay your toll. If you do not have FasTrak, you will receive a bill in the mail for just the amount of your toll.

Only tolls paid electronically on the I-15 Express Lanes or South Bay Expressway with a valid FasTrak transponder count toward the MMT for SBX and I-15 accounts. Transactions on other FasTrak toll roads and bridges (outside San Diego) do not count toward the MMT.
