November 2, 2018. Dear Galloway Families: November is a month full of celebration and thankfulness! This year we have opportunities to exercise our right to vote on Election Day (November 6), honor our country's military heroes on Veterans' Day (November 12), laud the successes of our students during American Education Week (November 12 - 16), and show our gratitude on Thanksgiving (November 22).

The Galloway School is a private Christian school in Friendswood, TX that provides accelerated instruction for gifted and talented students.

Why Galloway? The vision of The Galloway School is “to prepare our students to become first class citizens with a world class education.” Our children will not just be competing with classmates and students in their communities for the jobs of the 21st century, but will be competing with students from around the world for the great jobs of the future.

Governance of the school starts with the board of trustees, whose function is to advance Galloway's mission and objectives by developing policies and long-range plans to assure the well-being of the school; ensuring the long-term financial viability of the school; and hiring and working collaboratively with the head of school, who is in charge of day-to-day administration and operations.

Galloway School Tours provide residential and day excursions by coach and air to schools nationwide. Destinations include France, Germany, Spain, Poland, The Netherlands, Czech Republic and Belgium.

The Galloway School's spaces for the arts are first class. Most of the spaces for the arts are housed in the Chaddick Center for the Arts, though evidence of students' art is in hallways and stairwells and generally permeates the campus.
